Aegialis Retreats – Community Marketplace & Wellness Retreat Platform
Developed for Aegialis Hotel & Spa in Amorgos, Greece, this web application transformed a luxury resort site into a dynamic community marketplace for international yoga and Pilates instructors. The platform enables instructors from around the world to register personal accounts, design custom retreat itineraries, host events at the resort’s facilities, and directly market their programs to prospective clients.
Built on WordPress using custom PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and MySQL, the site balances complex account management with an intuitive user experience. It features custom user roles (Instructors vs. Attendees), frontend listing submission forms, and a centralized retreat directory with filtering options.
